Located in the northern part of Bornholm just south of the city Sandvig, you’ll find this old medieval fortication.
According to wikipedia it is believed to be among the largest medieval fortifications in Northern Europe.
It was partially demolished around 1750, but later undervent some restoration near the 1900’s.
The castle has an impressive storyline and held Leonard Christine captured for her betrayal with Corfitz Ulfeldt against Denmark.
